Mount Kenya National Park rises in the country’s central highlands, Africa’s second-highest peak after Kilimanjaro and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its glacier-capped summit, afro-alpine moorland and dense forest support a landscape found nowhere else on the continent.
Trails suit both first-time trekkers and experienced climbers, from short forest walks on the lower slopes to multi-day routes toward Point Lenana at 4,985 metres.
