Our longest cross-border itinerary, and the one with room to spare. Eight parks and reserves across two countries in fourteen days means full days in the richest areas rather than a single night in each and a lot of driving in between. The Kenyan half covers the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and its rhino sanctuary, Lake Naivasha with Hell’s Gate, and Amboseli under Kilimanjaro.
Crossing at Namanga, the Tanzanian half works through Lake Manyara, down into the Ngorongoro Crater, across two full days in the Serengeti, and finishes among the baobabs of Tarangire. Drinking water, three meals a day on safari, all park entrance fees, two nights in Arusha on bed and breakfast and return transport from Nairobi are included.
