Lake Nakuru National Park lies within Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, a soda lake ringed by acacia woodland, grassland and dramatic escarpment cliffs. Its compact size makes it one of the easiest parks in Kenya to explore thoroughly in a short visit.
The park protects one of the country’s most important black and white rhino populations, alongside Rothschild’s giraffe and, in the right season, vast flocks of flamingo along the shoreline.
